Welcome to the Nokia 2700 mobile phone review. Released in early 2009 the 2700 is placed at the higher end of Nokia's entry level range of mobile phones. In all honestly we think it is essentially a Nokia 6300 in a cheaper body plastic body. Sure it looks like the latest metal based 6700 but it's not. The styling clues however do make the 2700 look like a decent model though which should make it easy to sell if priced correctly.
The 2700's all plastic construction the underlying operating software is the latest Series40 5th edition. As a result it run the various free animated screensavers and wallpapers that we develop. This model is quite a step up from the the base models like the Nokia 1661 etc...
The only thing this phone does not have is 3G capability. However it can connect to the slower EDGE based network for some data capability. USB connectivity and capability to work with the Nokia Suite makes this a pretty decent phone. Apart from that its got everything you need in standard mobile phone in 2009.
We can recommend this model if you want a cheaper and reasonably featured but GSM network only phone. It's price is highly competitive from about $99 as a pre-paid package. Expect the price to lower even further over next 12 months.
