Welcome to the Nokia C6 review/information page. The Nokia C6-01 was released in late 2010 as a cheaper alternative to the N series smart phones. It virtually has all the N97 functionality in a different case and slideout keypad. We are concerned about the low CPU number after our short stint with the N97. It really needs the 600Mhz processor available in other phones.
Priced between the $400-500 price range it is expensive for a mobile phone with little design flair to show for it. Thus we have no idea why they bothered releasing it - there are much better Nokia and other brands to choose from in the price range. The Samsung Wave comes to mind!
Anyway, the look and feel is almost all plastic but at least the construction is solid and light in the hands. The slide out keypad is easy to use and should take some pounding. The screen is relatively large thus no problems with viewing pictures or any other function.
It is a cheap phone but with all the functionality you need in a phone for 2010. It has all the benefits and flaws inherent in most Nokia phones we have reviewed on this website so pointless repeating.
